Back to School Drive
Ready for school!
Our 2023 Back to School was a raging success! In total, CASA Essex was able to donate over 700 backpacks filled with new school supplies to the foster youth of Essex County. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed - especially to ALMS, Inc., St. Mary & St. Mercurius Church of Belleville, Project Readiness, Maher Terminals, Church Alive, RCTLJ, Local ILA 1233, and The Trade Desk. Special thanks as well to the Student Council at Newark's East Side High School for their assistance in helping us organize these amazing donations. We are humbled by, and grateful for, the outpouring of support and love on behalf of our foster youth.
